The Diary of a Teenage Girl, written by and starring Marielle Heller, is truly a masterpiece. It is an amazing work of art that was adapted from a graphic novel by Phoebe Gloeckner (now on exhibit at the 3LD Art & Technology Center) about a fifteen year old girl trying to grow up in a world she was not ready to take on herself. She began to live her life in the fast lane, doing things you would not think a normal teenager would do. But the main character Minnie Goetz is not normal at all. [click to continue…]
