I LIVE New York!

There are two types of New Yorkers. People who live in the city, and people who actually LIVE in the city. You may be asking, “What is the difference?” The difference is that there are many individuals who do not take advantage of what this international capital has to offer. They go through their everyday duties and never stop to take in the splendors around them.

I am a person who falls in the latter category. I LIVE in New York. Although, I feel that I am far from a social butterfly, I do try to take in as much (read: FREE) NYC events as I possibly can. For example, this past Saturday, my friends and I ventured out to Union Square to participate in an enormous pillow fight (with the pillows later being donated to the Pillows for Puppies campaign). That’s what we do. :)

On a cold December 4th (first Friday of December, naturally), a record 63 young art/film-enthusiasts descended upon the SONY WONDERLAB for High 5′s Pizza and a Movie Night: RANDOM HOLIDAY EDITION.  This mob voted down both The Nightmare Before Christmas and Groundhog Day in favor of Ferris Bueller’s Day Off.  The mob ruled, as always.
